FYI: Crowd fencing is up at Oregon Ridge. And road up to launch at High Rock is newly paved.

Well.......the forementioned property is what we've always prayed for. And 25 acres is ( so long as its reasonably flat ) more than enough. Asking price doesn't always mean selling price. Is anybody looking into this? Just curious. Can all wing types get to it on a buoyant glide? Other thoughts are ...

Heard thru the grapevine that there was a fatality in the lz. Does anybody have details to share? Not being morbid but its always been a sobering learning tool to talk about these tragic events.

Hyner was a great time. awesome turn out too. Most crowded I've seen it in years! weather was awesome....( rained like hell Friday night but...) Saturday was beautiful as was Sunday and Monday. Didn't fly.....but camping was great and we kayaked the river. Hung out with Charlie and Tim mostly....and...

did they revised Cert. of Insurance get sent to the new management? FYI: they have some huge events planned this month. Things will probably settle down to normal by mid September...but best foot forward until then. Correction on flying dates at Oregon Ridge.....we have been flying there since 1971 ...

Rod Bynaker....Jim Gildea, and the the legendary Woody Jones.....all Va. pilots. But if you want to really get some history...contact our dear Emma Jane.........the Mother of hanggliding in the Mid Atlantic. SHE....is our history book because anybody who was anybody flew High Rock back in the day......
