I'm off. I'd be interested if the weather is flyable

I've missed out on a couple of weekends due to other plans, and not really sure I can get away mid-week... But the forecast I just saw implied that there could be some good conditions ahead for a week or more, temps in the 70s in the DC area. So.... Probably a good time to plan ahead a bit, maybe we'll see some great flying days!

Tent and etc also going back into the vehicle ;-)

Possibly going, arriving early afternoon with hopes of PG even though HG would be fine.

Huge dome of Canadian high pressure will produce light NW, N, NNE, ENE, E, ESE winds in the next 4-6 days. Wrong side of the unit circle  . Labor day weekend is looking like it's on the right side of the unit circle :D . Bacil

Blaine and I have decided to wait for another day. Given the current forecasts, HG soarable conditions are most likely not going to happen until the late afternoon/evening and even then the predictions suggest marginal HG ridge lift.

PG's believe it is going to be too windy, so I am not going either.

Here we go again  . The same old story. Nobody wants to adapt their schedule to the whims of the site. It is just perfect right now for PG. NW @ 6 MPH @ HGR. So get up early and get there early before it gets too strong on launch. This is the period of the "doldrums" that occur every year between mid July to late August. Bacil
