Agree that things are looking good for the Pulpit on Sat, at least as of Friday night....
Don't yet have a rack for my new vehicle, so hoping to carpool with someone who might be going by Rockville MD on the way up. If there's a chance of that please let me know, thanks!

Hmmm... Things are looking a lot more SW, even S, than forecasts indicated last night...
(less concerned about the rain showers, they should move off pretty quickly)
So having some doubts that Pulpit is the place to be; other thoughts?

I'll be heading out there today from Thurmont, ETA 1PM. XC Anytime called it w/WSW all afternoon. Tomorrow morning looks better but IDK know who will be there.

Just a hint south of west at KAOO at 4pm. Both W and SW obs at KHGR during the afternoon. Looks like my reservations were premature. Sigh!

It got decent around 4:30 for a while but only 2 pilots flew and w/extendos.
