I decided to start a thread for those interested in flying Dickeys today.
I'm meeting Steve Kinsley at the park entrance today at 12:30. For now I'm not sure who else is going to be there but we will for sure.
If you're coming ease post (HG or PG)
Safe flights everyone!
Felix.

The PGers are headed there.
Don't forget your permits. The park rangers are checking for them.

Re: Dickeys today 10/20
So, the hike to Dickeys is no joke - what a workout! I'll be suffering tomorrow.
The day looked great but turned out to be much less than that (at least for me).
4 Paragliders flew (Tom Ceunen, Dan T, Laszlo and Matt Ingram). SteveK and I the only HG'ers (not too bad since the setup area is pretty restrictive up there). Steve got a nice flight in, I launched last and scratched like crazy, put on a good fight but landed just 10 minutes later. Had a good launch and landing - I find DIckeys it to be a pretty technical site (especially the LZ).
Thank you Steve for coming out, much appreciated.
What a great site - I need to go back and actually soar it one day...
