Modern topless gliders are sweet, but there is definitely more to them than just needing a bigger field. They require more finess, coordination and touch to fly well/safely. You can get yourself in trouble quickly if you don't respect that.

It is a great comp and a ton of fun! I had a blast there last year. We had one task that was just over 70 miles, with 5 or 6 of us in goal. Super fun week of flying in FL.
